We would like to stress that no Sensitive Data is required, collected or processed in heyme. heyme administrators do not have access to content published or shared in heyme.

We understand and honour that everyone has the right to the protection of personal data. We therefore ensure that such data is gathered legally, under strict conditions, for a legitimate purpose only.

GIDE International Limited, the owner of heyme, collects and manages data, protects it from misuse and respects the rights of the data owners which are guaranteed by EU law:

  • Personal data - any information relating to personal information which can be used to identify you, directly or indirectly, such as your name, your telephone number, your email address, your place and date of birth, etc.
  • Data processing - any operation or set of operations which is performed upon personal data, whether or not by automatic means, such as collection, recording, organization, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, blocking, erasure or destruction,

Purpose

Where heyme collects User Data, it does so to enable access to heyme, as defined in the heyme Terms of Licence. Personal Data is expected to be limited to first and last name, company name, email and possibly job-tile.

Billing and other information: for Customers that purchase the Service, we collect and store billing address, bank account information or possibly credit card details. We use account data to administer accounts and keep track of billing and payments. This information will not be shared with other parties.

Account information: users provide information such as an email address and password to create a Participant account. This information is only stored for use within heyme and will not be shared with other parties.

Responding to your requests: where a Participant contacts us with a problem or question, we will use this information to respond.

Security

We take numerous steps to protect information you provide to us from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access or disclosure. These steps take into account the sensitivity of the information we collect, process and store, and the current state of technology.

We use encryption (HTTPS/TLS) to protect data transmitted to and from our site. However, no data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, so we can’t guarantee security. You use the Service at your own risk, and you’re responsible for taking reasonable measures to secure your account.

We will maintain administrative, physical, and technical safeguards for protection of the security, confidentiality and integrity of Participant Data. Those safeguards will include, but will not be limited to, measures for preventing access, use, modification or disclosure of Participant Personal data by our personnel except to provide the access to heyme and to address service or technical problems.

Data Storage

heyme uses third-party vendors and hosting partners, such as Krystal Hosting and DigitalOcean, for hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology we need to run the web services. By using heyme Services, you authorize GIDE International Limited to transfer, store, and use your information in the United Kingdom and any other country where we operate.

Tracking & Cookies

We use browser cookies and similar technologies to recognize you when you return to our Services. We use them in various ways, for example to log you in, remember your preferences (such as default language), evaluate email effectiveness, and personalize content and other information. Some third-party services that we use to provide the Service, such as Google Analytics, may place their own cookies in your browser. This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by heyme only and not the use of cookies by third parties.

We acknowledge that the information you provide may be confidential. We do not sell, rent, distribute or otherwise make personal information commercially available to any third party. Consent

In contracting with GIDE International Limited in relation to heyme, and having checked the box confirming your Consent to the Privacy Policy, you agree that we have Legitimate interests to process personal and company data provided to us.

At no time will we publish or share any information with a third party, unless in Compliance with a legal obligation.

At all times we will ensure there is no unwarranted impact on you, and that we are fair, transparent and accountable.
